Google to launch the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 5G by fall.

According to reports, Google will announce two smartphones – the Pixel 4a 5G and the Pixel 5 5G by fall this year. Google is yet to disclose the specifications of these smartphonesm but we should get a hold of it in the coming months.

A fresh piece of information revealed that the Google Pixel 5 could debut with a 120Hz display panel. Previous reports have claimed that the Pixel 5 will not launch as a Flagship device.

It was rumoured that the firm has no plans to launch the Pixel 5 XL yet. Thus, the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 5G will be the only smartphones to expect before the year runs out.

According to Ross Young, Google’s display analyst, the upcoming Pixel smartphone will carry support for 5G and sport a big 6.6-inch display.

The Pixel 5 will arrive with much improved specs than the Pixel 4a. Rumours have it that it will be driven by the Snapdragon 765G chipset. Since the chipset is not as powerful as the Snapdragon 865G flagship chipset, the smartphone will likely debut with a large-sized battery.

The Pixel 4a 5G will carry a price tag of $499 while the Pixel 5 5G will cost about $649. Since speculations have it that the phones will arrive by fall, sales will likely begin by November or December.
