Honor President George Zhao took to Facebook to announce that the Honor 9X Pro which was announced in China last July is now schedule for global launch on February 24.

Also, the 9X Pro will have Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) onboard, making it the first Honor smartphone to come with the company’s Google Mobile Services (GMS) alternative.

The Honor 9X Pro is powered by the Kirin 810 SoC and might come in two memory configurations like its Chinese counterpart – 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. The Honor 9X Pro in China boots to Android Pie-based EMUI 9.1, but we hope the global version will run Android 10-based EMUI 10 out of the box.

The Honor 9X Pro boasts a 6.59″ FHD+ notchless display, features a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and packs a 4,000 mAh battery charging at 10W.

The Honor 9X Pro has a 16MP selfie snapper mounted on an elevating mechanism, and a triple camera setup on the back comprising a 48MP main, 8MP ultrawide and 2MP depth sensor units.
