Huawei, Honor, announced two wearable devices at the IFA 2020. The brand named the smart wearables the Honor Watch GS Pro and Honor Watch ES.

Honor Watch GS Pro

The Honor Watch GS Pro is the first rugged smartwatch to be produced by the brand. The smart device has a MIL-STD-810G certification, and it houses a massive 790mAh battery.

According to the company, the battery on the Honor Watch GS Pro offers the user with 25-days usage, at the maximum.

Besides, the watch also features over 100 workout and outdoor modes, which includes running, skiing, jogging, snowboarding, hiking, and lots more.

Coming to the display, the Honor Watch GS Pro arrives with a circular 1.39-inch AMOLED display panel. The screen has a pixel density of 326ppi, and it delivers a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels.

On the inside, it runs on the Kirin A1 SoC alongside LiteOS.

The smartwatch packs other attractive features like accelerometer, optical heart rate sensor, compass, barometer, gyroscope, GPS, and ambient light sensor.

The device would be available in Camo Blue, Charcoal Black, and Marl White colour options. It will retail for €249.99 in EU countries and carry a price tag of £249.99 in the UK.

Honor Watch ES

A quick look at the design of this device suggests that the company is targeting customers that are fashionable – especially women. The watch has an elegant build, and it features a rectangular 1.64-inch AMOLED display.

The screen on the Honor Watch ES supports a screen resolution of 456 x 280 pixels, 70% screen-to-body ratio, and 326ppi pixel density.

The Honor Watch ES also runs on LiteOS. It is driven by HiSilicon Kirin A1 and features 95 workout modes.

The watch comes pre-loaded with 12 animated workout courses alongside other features, which includes sleep tracking, alert for calls & messages, menstrual cycle tracking, stress-level tracking, and app notifications.

Like the Watch GS Pro, it also comes with an optical heart-rate sensor, gyroscope, SpO2 sensor, ambient light sensor, and accelerometer.

Honor claims that the battery on this device would last the user for up to 10 days.

The Honor Watch ES is available in three colour choices; Coral Pink, Iceland White, and Meteorite Black. It sells for €99.99 in Europe and £99.99 in the UK.

Presently, the two watches are listed on JD.com for pre-booking. Although both devices have been listed online in China, the pricing for the Chinese market is still a mystery.

Honor plans to launch the two devices in China on September 16, till then, let’s keep our fingers crossed.
