iQOO unveiled the iQOO U1x mid-range device. The phone arrived as the second handset to be launched under the iQOO U-series.
The iQOO U1x houses a 6.51-inch IPS LCD panel that produces an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. It weighs 192.3 grams and has a dimension of 164.4 x 76.3 x 8.4mm.
The punch-hole screen supports a pixel density of 296ppi and an aspect ratio of 20:9.
Also, the screen offers the user with an 89% screen to body ratio.
The Snapdragon 662 chipset controls the iQOO U1x smartphone. The handset comes with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage.
The waterdrop notch on the phone’s screen houses an 8-megapixel camera that allows the user to take selfies.
On the backside, the iQOO U1x sports a rectangular module, which houses a triple camera system. The module includes a 13-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel shooter, and a 2-megapixel bokeh lens.
The smartphone boots to a customized iQOO UI based on Android 10 OS.
The iQOO U1x houses a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging tech.
For connectivity, it offers the user with dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The iQOO U1x also sports a side-facing fingerprint scanner and face unlock.
Presently, the handset is up for pre-sale in China, and it is scheduled to hit retail stores by Nov 1.
The iQOO U1x is available in three variants such as the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model, and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. These variants sell for 899 Yuan (~$135), 999 Yuan (~$150), and 1,199 Yuan (~$180) respectively.
The smartphone will arrive in light black and morning forest colour editions.
