Nokia 5.3 and Nokia C3 launches in India

Nokia has a lot of smartphones in the country’s market, and the brand is doing good in this part of the world.

Recently, HMD Global released two feature phones; the Nokia 125 and Nokia 150, for customers who are looking to get such devices.

Now, the brand has finally taken the cover off the much-anticipated Nokia 5.3 alongside the Nokia C3 in India.

Nokia 5.3 specifications and pricing details

The Nokia 5.3 arrives with an IPS LCD 6.55-inch waterdrop notch display. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and delivers an HD+ resolution. A Gorilla Glass 3 panel shields the screen of the phone.

It comes with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. On the rear, a circular module houses the 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad-camera system.

The Snapdragon 665 chipset powers the Nokia 5.3. Coupled with the chipset is an LPDDR4x RAM and an eMMC 5.1 storage.

Presently, the Nokia 5.3 comes pre-loaded with the Android 10 OS. There’s guarantee that the phone would receive Android 11 and Android 12 updates.

The Nokia 5.3 relies on a 4,000mAh battery, and it carries support for 10W charging technology.

As for connectivity, the Nokia 5.3 features dual 4G VoLTE, USB-C, MicroSD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also features a dedicated Google Assistant button and a rear-fitted fingerprint scanner.

The Nokia 5.3 launched in India in two variants;

  • 4GB RAM + 64GB storage – Rs. 13,999 (~$188)
  • 6GB RAM + 64GB storage – Rs. 15,499 (~$208)

The sales of the smartphone will begin on September 1. Meanwhile, the Nokia 5.3 is available on Amazon India and Nokia India’s online store.

Nokia C3 specifications and pricing details 

The Nokia C3 comes with a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display that produces HD+ resolution. It has an aspect ratio of 18:9.

The Unisoc SC9863A drives the Nokia C3 alongside a 3,040mAh battery. It runs on Android 10 OS as well and supports only 10W charging.

The Nokia C3 features a 5-megapixel selfie camera and a single 8-megapixel shooter assisted by an LED flash on its rear.

The Nokia C3 sports other features like dual 4G VoLTE, MicroSD card slot, Google Assistant button, fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB port.

The Nokia C3 arrived in India in two variants as well. The 2GB RAM + 16GB storage variant carries a price tag of Rs. 7,499 (~$100) while the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant costs Rs. 8,999 (~$121).

The Nokia C3 will be available in Sand and Cyan colour options.
