OPPO, has launched the OPPO K7 5G smartphone in China. The new device is the latest addition into the company’s K-series as the last device it released in that series, OPPO K5, debuted last year.
The OPPO K7 5G has a dimension of 160.3 x 74.3 x 7.96mm. It weighs 180 grams and arrives with a 6.5-inch AMOLED display. The screen delivers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and offers a 60Hz refresh rate.
Unlike the OPPO K5 that arrived with Snapdragon 730G chipset, the new K7 5G rocks the Snapdragon 765G chipset alongside 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It features a MicroSD card slot for additional storage.
A 32-megapixel camera graces the front-side of the device for selfies. On the rear side, it sports a 48-megapixel quad-camera system. The system comprises a primary 48-megapixel lens, an 8-megapixel super-wide snapper, a 2-megapixel camera, and a depth assist lens with a resolution of 2-megapixels.
Out of the box, the smartphone will come with an in-screen fingerprint scanner and pre-loaded with Color OS 7 UI based on Android 10 Operating System.
The connectivity features on the OPPO K7 5G includes its support for dual SIM, GPS, USB-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac.
The smartphone has support for 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging tech. It is equipped with a moderate 4,025mAh battery.
The OPPO K7 is not yet available but will go on sale come August 11. The smartphone will be available in two variants;
- 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage – 1,999 Yuan (~$286)
- 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage – 2,299 Yuan (~$329)
The smartphone will be available in five colour editions. Gradient Red, Mystery Black, Gradient White, Blue, and Gradient Yellow.
