Realme X2 Pro gets VoWiFi and January security patch update

Realme is a smartphone manufacturer and also produces a wide variety of other products such as earphones, fitness bands and bags.

Realme India CEO said about a week ago that the company will roll out the VoWiFi feature for its smartphones starting this month. Now Realme has released a new software update for the X2 Pro that brings VoWiFi support for Airtel and Reliance Jio customers.

Additionally, the new build brings the January 2020 Android security patch to the X2 Pro and squashes a bug that prevented users from uploading videos on Instagram. Besides, the update brings improvements to system stability that remain unnamed.

The new firmware, bearing version number RMX1931EX_11.A.09, is currently seeding in India. It’s only rolling to a limited number of users right now and a broader rollout will commence if no major bugs are found.

However, if you can’t wait for the update to reach your device, you can install it manually by downloading the update package from here.
