Xiaomi Unveils the Redmi K30 Ultra with 6GB RAM + 128GB Storage Edition
Xiaomi, not long ago announced the Redmi K30 Ultra smartphone in its home country. The device was to mark the 10th anniversary of the Chinese smartphone maker.
Recently, the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version of the Redmi K30 Ultra launched and hit the shelves. It carried a price tag of 2,499 Yuan (~$374).
And now, it seems the firm has seen the need to manufacture a standard and lower variant of the Redmi K30 Ultra.
Redmi has taken the cover off what might be the base variant of the Redmi K30 Ultra. The all-new K30 series device features 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.
The standard model of the Redmi K30 Ultra comes with a Samsung-made 6.67-inch AMOLED panel. The screen supports lots of features such as HDR10+ and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Further, the display produces an HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, and it offers the user with a 92.7% screen space.
On the inside, the MediaTek-driven Dimensity 1000+ 5G processer drives the latest variant of the Redmi K30 Ultra. The chip, which is built using the 7nm process, features the latest high-end ARM Cortex-A77 cores and Mali-G77 cores.
Thanks to the chipset, the handset has support for SA / NSA dual-mode 5G and dual 5G standby.
For the optics, the latest Redmi K30 Ultra packs a quad-camera system on its rear panel. The setup includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an ultra-wide angle 13-megapixel camera, a 5-megapixel tele-macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth camera.
On the front side, the Redmi K30 Ultra has a 20-megapixel snapper that allows user to take selfies and make video calls.
The smartphone comes pre-installed with the firm’s MIUI 12 skin based on Android 10 OS, and it houses a 4,500mAh battery that supports 33W of fast charging.
Presently, the 6GB RAM variant of the Redmi K30 Ultra is available on a Chinses online platform, JD.com, and it retails for 1,999 Yuan (~$309).
